To keep our marketplace safe and enjoyable for its members, we have guidelines and policies in place to ensure that this feature is used fairly.
FAQ
I received an unfair negative review. What can I do about it?
If you feel that you have received an unfair negative review, we suggest that you contact the customer and communicate with them to resolve the issue. If the customer wants to change their feedback, they can review it here.
I have received a review that violates Advercado’s policies. What should I do?
If a customer has violated our review policies, inform us immediately. We will review the content and remove the review if it breaches any of our policies.
Review extortion policy
Vendors are only required to honour the details in the original listing. Feedback cannot be used to demand extra products or services from a vendor. Customers are not allowed to threaten vendors with negative reviews if their demands are not met.
Review manipulation policy
Manipulation of reviews involves members using reviews to artificially increase or decrease a product listing or store rating. This is strictly forbidden; not adhering to this policy will lead to the suspension or the revoking of your account.
Manipulation may include:
- Registering multiple accounts or collaborating with other members to exchange reviews
- Offering to buy, sell or exchange reviews
- Buying or selling Advercado user accounts
- Conducting transactions with the purpose of increasing or decreasing a review score
