Offering to buy or sell outside of Advercado policy

Offering to buy or sell space or services outside of Advercado is not allowed. All communication and transactions should be made through the platform. Exchanging personal details through Advercado to conduct a transaction outside of the platform is forbidden. This practice can put both customer and vendor at risk of fraud.

 

What is the policy?

 

Customers and vendors must:

 

• Complete all transactions through Advercado. This builds trust in the marketplace through purchases and reviews. Confirmation of purchases can be obtained by:
  1. Using Advercados checkout procedure to complete a purchase
  2. Viewing the purchase in orders or bookings

 

We encourage vendors to offer coupons to customers for lower rates and prices.

 

Customers and vendors MUST NOT:

 

• Engage in any actions intended to facilitate a transaction outside of Advercado
• Share or request direct contact information prior to completing a transaction

(Exception: Vendors can share their email address to receive media if the chat function does not support the file type or file size.)

• Use communication channels to promote external websites that facilitate sales outside of Advercado
• Add links or referances to spaces or services outside of Advercado in a listing and/or review
• Offer catologues or other items that can be used to order spaces, services or products outside of Advercado
• Host descriptions or images for listings outside of Advercado

 

 

 

What happens if you breach the policy?

 

Activity that does not adhere to Advercado’s policies may result in the suspension or revoking of an account.

 

 

Why do we have this policy?

 

We strive to ensure Advercado is a safe and enjoyable experience for all our users. Transactions conducted outside of Advercado are at risk of fraud for both customers and vendors. Our platform provides a safe place for customers and vendors to connect, and whilst we thrive develop a better service for our members, participating in transactions is key to realising our goals.
