At Advercado we encourage customers and vendors to build lasting relationships on a local and national scale. We want to facilitate great partnerships that benefit all our members. Communication is key, so to keep everyone in our community safe we have guidelines and policies that cover member to member communication.
Member MUST NOT:
- Use threatening or hostile language, including profanity, towards other members
- Encourage buying or selling outside of Advercado
- Exchange personal information other than names
- Send spam

FAQ
Does Advercado share its members’ personal email addresses?
We do not share any personal information, including members’ personal email addresses. We encourage all communication to be conducted through Advercado to ensure the safety and protection of customers and vendors.
What do I do if receive abusive messages?
If you receive any threats or abusive messages report it to us here.
We take all reports of abuse seriously. Depending on its severity, action may include suspending or revoking the members account.
Does Advercado store member to member messages?
All communication between members is private unless a report of abuse is made.
To ensure safety and to resolve problems we may monitor messages and/or attachments if we have reason to suspect abuse, fraud, spam, illegal content and other policy violations.
A customer has left bad feedback on my product or store, can I have it removed?
Feedback left on your products or store can only be removed or altered by customers- we will not remove them. We advise you to contact the customer to try and resolve the issue and encourage them to review their feedback.
If you have received feedback which contains abusive language, hate speech or profanities please report this abuse here. The customer will be subject to investigation and the potential suspending or revoking of their account.
Member to member communication policy
Overview
Advercado facilitates communication between members in a number of ways including forms and chat widgets. We encourage communication between members, however we do not allow these channels to be used to exchange personal information; send spam; send threats, hate speech or profanity; make suggestions towards purchasing products or services outside of Advercado; or for fraudulent and illegal activity which goes against our policies.
Threats
We have a ZERO tolerance policy to any threatening language used towards members of our marketplace. If you receive a threat, report it to us immediately so we can investigate. If you receive a threat that gives you genuine concern, please contact the police to make a report.
Profanity and hate speech
Members MUST NOT use profanity or hate speech in communications sent to other members of Advercado.
Spam
What is spam?
Irrelevant or unsolicited messages sent over the internet, typically to a large number of users, for the purposes of advertising, phishing, spreading malware, etc.
Members MUST NOT send spam across Advercado’s communication channels. This includes:
- Messages that include external links
- Unsolicited messages with offers on products or services
- Invitations to join a mailing list outside of Advercado
If you have received spam, report it here.
Reviews
Only under certain circumstances will Advercado remove a review left by a member.
We WILL remove reviews that:
- Do not relate to a sale
- Contain abuse, threats or vulgar and derogatory language
- Contain external links that encourage a sale outside of Advercado
- Contain sensitive or personal information not disclosed by a vendor
We WILL NOT remove reviews that:
- Contain feedback that a vendor feels is unfair
- Contain feedback using accusatory language
Why do we have this policy?
We strive to ensure Advercado is a safe and enjoyable experience for all our users. Communication between members is key. In order to make Advercado a safe and open marketplace we hold our members to certain standards. These standards keep members from receiving unwanted messages and offers from other users.
