Paypal payment processing

As an online marketplace, we need to provide you with the best payment processing solutions available to make sure you receive your payments and get paid on time.

We charge nothing to use this service. The below fees are the standard Paypal payment processing fees.

What is an online card payment?
Online card payments allow your customers to pay you for products and services you sell at Advercado. We’ve integrated our marketplace with Paypal, so to receive payments from customers with Paypal accounts, you’ll need to set up a Paypal account.

When your customers choose to pay by card, they will be asked for their card details and it will charge the amount you have requested on their card. Paypal also facilitates quick payments for your customers and multiple payment options.

If this is the first card payment, you accept or if Paypal performs further checks on the transaction, it can take up to seven working days for the money to show up in your account.

Current Rates

Paypal will charge £0.30 + 1.2% for UK cards, £0.30+ 1.29% for cards from the (EU) European Economic Area, and £0.30 + 2.9% for all other cards for each transaction. This fee will be deducted from the incoming funds.

Additional service fee for recipients of EEA based international commercial transactions

This fee only applies to merchants who have separate agreements with PayPal. An additional service fee, following a change in applicable laws, regulations or card scheme rules relating to the sending or receipt of commercial transactions, may be applied on the amount of a commercial transaction received by merchants with a PayPal account registered in the UK market/region from a sender whose account is registered with or identified by PayPal as being in the EEA market/region.
